Rewa Giroux-Dumas

Rewa has been working in the fitness industry for 18 years and has had the pleasure of working with a variety of people whose goals ranged from competitive sports to walking without a cane. She is a certified Personal Trainer as well. 

She first came to yoga while healing from injury. She was able to find steadiness, strength and balance in her life and more compassion towards herself. She always incorporated mindful movement into her work as a trainer and enjoyed the opportunity to attend a yoga teacher training in Power Vinyasa Yoga in 2010. Rewa's teachings are inspired by teachers Steve Ross, Shiva Rae, Rod Stryker,  Paul Grilly and Tayna Steward.  She plans to continue her yoga studies in Yoga Therapy and Para Yoga. 

Rewa believes that by having a consistent personal practice, yoga is transformational in every aspect of life. She teaches a Vinyasa style class that links breath with movement. She also incorporates pranayama and meditation. Her passion as a teacher is to guide you through a practice in way that you can make it your own by encouraging you to be present, explore your edge, meet challenges and celebrate the stillness and “AHH HAA” moments.
